Building a life at the intersection of care, institutions, and the stories we tell.

I study how policy, healthcare, and community work in practice—not only on paper. This spring I'm in Omaha for Berkshire Hathaway's annual meeting, listening and learning from people who have spent decades building durable organizations.

Introduction

Who I am

Celine Song

Impact, to me, is measured where a system actually meets a person—volume when it scales, and depth when it doesn't.

My thread is simple: I care about what happens to people when systems touch their lives— in a clinic, a hearing room, or a classroom. I've worked in veterinary ophthalmology, on global device launches, in antitrust research, and on Capitol Hill—each time trying to learn how decisions upstream become outcomes downstream.

Outside formal roles, I write and research around breast cancer experiences in China, and I've spent years on a community health initiative supporting education access. I'm drawn to work that pairs rigor with empathy.

Impact, in numbers

A few anchors from internships, service, and independent work—shorthand for scope, not the whole story.
